Muddy Boots, Cupar

Muddy Boots is a brilliant farm based day out in East Scotland. It has a few separate attractions for the family including a farm shop, great cafe, small farm animal area, pottery painting,, and most importantly a wonderful play area! The play area is broken into a few different areas, Muddy Munchkins for younger children (up to 7) which has ride on cars, bouncing pillow, swing, slides, adventure playground etc. An indoor(ish... open at one side) soft play barn with an enormous structure and an older kids area with grass sledging, tractor rides etc. The best thing about Muddy Boots is that it is very non-commercial, it really comes across as a family run business that puts its customers first. If you can imagine that you asked your favourite uncle to build you a fort in the back garden that's pretty much what it's like here! It is very 'rough and ready' but in a very good way - no signs telling you what you can and can't do, no over officious staff - just a relaxed and friendly attitude and a genuine welcome to you and your children.
