Dunfermline Bowlplex overview
Dunfermline Bowlplex is situated in Fife Leisure Park which also has a cinema, bingo, mini golf, gym and loads of restaurants such as McDonalds, Frankie & Benny's and Pizza Hut. As you walk into the ...
Dunfermline Bowlplex there is a desk where you make your booking and to the left of the desk are arcades with machines and games which you and your children can play if you have a bit of a wait. There are approximately 25 lanes. There is a food booth where you can get burgers, hot dogs, nachos, drinks etc. They play music when bowling and at night the lanes glow in the dark. Every bowling alley has different weighed balls and a helper stand to assist small children to bowl. Toddlers also bowl free from Monday to Friday until 6pm. The staff are always very nice and helpful, but if you go oat the weekend then expect to wait a while to get a lane, although there is a lot to do while you are waiting. There are no stairs in the whole building and plenty of space, therefore it is easy to access by both pushchair and pram.

Took our two boys aged 10 and 8 and a great time was had by all.The boys had the bumpers in place which makes it a lot easier for the younger ones and saves on tantrums as well.we went during the Easter Special times and it only cost us £2 per person per game which was great.only down side i would say is the games arcade is pretty expensive but thankfully the offer of a McDonalds saved us from staying

Lots of fun

This place is like your typical bowling alley with that bit more. They use neon lights to light up the place and have music playing the whole time so it creates a brilliant atmosphere. It makes sure that no one cheats by stepping over the line as a buzzer goes off and its noted down as a fowl. It has the ramps where children can put their bowling balls and push them down so that they don't have to carry the heavy bowling balls and try and throw them. It's a lot of fun to be had by all. The only downside is, and this is nothing to do with the bowling alley itself, is that I find whenever I take Natalie she tends to get bored after the first few rounds so I think its the idea of bowling thats not exactly brilliant for younger ones not the bowling alley itself.
