Leven Arcades overview
When you enter Leven Arcades there is a range of machines, from the traditional ones such as the two pence and ten pence machines (where you put coins in and hope that the machine pushes out more!) ...
to the horse and car machines that the children sit on and enjoy the ride. There are also machines where you win tickets and the more tickets you win, the better the prizes. There's a variety of grabber machines with prizes from teddies to tickets. 5 pound slot machines are okay for children to use and also a machine that connects up to Call of duty. There is also an area with bandits for over 18s that children are obviously not allowed in. There are change machines and a change booth. Upstairs is a cafe which sells snacks like sandwiches and paninis and hot meals such as mac and cheese and cheeseburgers. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful and it's great fun for the children.
Very fun

My son absolutely loves 'pennies' so the idea of winning pennies is amazing to him and he loves the two pence and ten pence machines where you put some in and it pushes more back out yet what he loves the most about this place is the tickets which you trade in for prizes, he always seems to be lucky on the deal or no deal machine and always gets at least 100 (hopefully don't jinx it by saying that) its a great place to go if the kids have some pocket money to spare!

A child friendly place to 'gamble'

My title may seem a bit bizarre as nobody would think that children being able to gamble is a good thing but here they have a variety of different machines from two pence machines to twenty pence machines where you are guaranteed to win a sweetie and one pound machines that offer that bit more. Theres a supervised bit where all the bandits are that only over eighteens can use so you don't have to worry about your child wondering in and using them and there is also the possibility to win tickets and trade them in for prizes which lets face it are no where near worth the money you put away for them but the kids always love it and they don't see that side to it. You could basically give your child five pounds worth of change and end up waiting an hour for them to spend it and all us adults love a bit of playing on the machines also so a lot of fun had by all. only thing i can fault is the fact that nearly ever time I have went in the staff aren't as friendly as they should be, lets face it, they chose to do the job so they should at least put a smile on their faces for our sake.
