Almond Valley Heritage Centre overview
Running water, if it is not rain, always provides a nice background and at Almond Valley Heritage Centre all the attractions are located along a lovely riverbank. There are friendly farm animals for ...
the children to get close to, farm buildings to explore, and a great child-friendly museum with lots of levers to pull and tunnels to crawl through. There seems to be a special event on most weekends as well so check out their website to see what
A great day out for little ones

We went here with friends who are season ticket holders. Its great fun for little ones. You take your buggy everywhere and the you can get really close to the animals so the children can see them without any problems. My boys who are tractor mad love the play park which all has a farm theme. Wellies are advisable if the weather has been wet. There is also a small indoor softplay if the Scottish weather turns on you! The cafe has everything you would expect, including high chairs. The only slight drawback is that like everywhere you can't leave without going through the shop!
