Dyffryn Gardens overview
Dyffryn Gardens has been selected one of the 100 best gardens in the UK by the British Tourism Association. This series of impressive gardens is attached to Dyffryn House in the Vale of Glamorgan and ...
spans over 55 acres. Dyffryn Gardens comprises of, walled gardens, ponds, a wild garden, fountains, a croquet lawn and an arboretum. There is also a visitor centre and tearoom, with inside and outside seating areas, adjacent to a small children’s play area. The gardens have both buggy and wheelchair access, and dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead. Throughout the year Dyffryn Gardens holds a number of events aimed at children, such as family fun days, open-air theatre and musical performances. There are informative guided walks around the gardens, but these are subject to the events timetable. Entry to the Gardens is subject to a charge but entry charges are reduced to half price in the winter months.

Dyffryn gardens are how you expect a country estates gardens to be- walled gardens, lots of different plants and decadent lawns and hedges. It is lovely to stroll around the gardens on a summers day but it is a little expensive in summer but half price in the winter- the prices are as follows:
Adults £6.50
Family (2 adults up to 4 children) £17.00
Concession £4.50
Child £2.50
Disabled £2.50
Carer Free
Sometimes the gardens are free if they have an event on such as an antiques fair so we tend to wait for times such as this. It is lovely to take a picnic and enjoy the gardens, ponds etc
