Millennium Stadium overview
What do New Kids on the Block, Robbie Williams, Oasis and The Rugby World Cup have in common? The answer of course is that they perform at this world class Millennium Stadium. Check out what is on ...
offer for your family visit, as there is always something exciting going on, from pop concert to flower show as well as major sporting matches. The kids may also be interested in a tour of the stadium to see behind the scenes in the players changing room and even the Queen’s Box, but don’t forget to book in advance.

The millenium stadium is located right in the centre of cardiff unlike most stadiums and is situated on the banks of the river taff. It is an impressive structure and you can really get a sense of this when you take your children on the millenium stadium tour. This is relatively inexpensive and takes about an hour so is comprehensive. The guides are enthusiastic and you are taken all around the stadium which includes the changing rooms, the pitch, the hospitality boxes and also teh queens seat. If you are lucky you even get to see the falconer with his falcon that scares off the pidgeons. A great day out

Well worth a visit

The stadium and the accompanying tour that is provided are so impressive, that I have been on it three times. It is not suitable for younger children but I think any child over 7 would find the stadium and the tour very interesting and impressive. The tour is also very reasonably priced and allows you to visit the players changing rooms, the queens seat, the hospitality suites and the pitch. A great day out.
