Cardiff museum is an impressive building right in the centre of cardiff. It has a substantial dinosaur collection bound to intrigue any child and it has wonderul animal section, although you may not like the site of lots of stuffed animals.
Entry is free and you really will find lots of exhibits that will fascinate your child. Well worth a visit
