See Conwy as kings and queens did

Following a visit to Conwy Castle we decided to spend the afternoon discovering the town via its castle walls. If you do decide to walk the walls you need to be aware that it isn’t buggy friendly yet don’t despair it doesn’t take more than 45 minutes to complete the circuit. The outside of the walls do have barriers and the steps up to them aren’t too high or time consuming. At various intervals you will have to come off the walls to rejoin them later. On the walls you’re rewarded by a variety of views of the castle as well as Conwy harbour. At one point we decided to take a break from our wall walk by visiting a local park that we spotted and gave the children yet another view of the castle from the country park. The walls, which are free to walk, combined with a visit to the castle makes a good and relative cheap day out.
