informative audio visual tours and displays. It also boasts fantastic views over the surrounding coastline. Facilities at Criccieth Castle include parking, toilets, and dogs are also welcome. Please note that there is no cafe on site but there are plenty in the nearby town. The castle is also unsuitable for pushchairs due to its type of construction.

Criccieth Castle is just breath-taking! It stands right on top of a rocky peninsula overlooking Tremadog Bay and is of course a prominent North Wales landmark. The castle certainly captured the imaginations of my little ones - they absolutely loved it here! The views were of course just amazing (although not for the faint-hearted - it is an awful long way down looking at the sea below!) Really fabulous place and amazing value I thought. Criccieth is great little town too boasting some lovely shops and a beach. We loved it here!
