We done this with our two children ages 9 and 14. I thought we'd be cold (well, it was February) but we were well kitted up including socks and gloves so after the initial very refreshing plunge, a swill around in the toilet bowl a long spin in the washing machine we soon warmed up. Our guide Cleo was very professional and kept a close eye on all of us regarding safety whilst maintaining a buzz of fun and silliness which made it all the more enjoyable. Our kids are still talking about it so we'll be back for another adventure in the spring.

Coasteering - exploring the coast where land meets sea. Cliff jumping, adventure swimming, rock hopping, sea level traversing, how ever you describe it, Coasteering is awesome.
Your professional guide will introduce you to everything your mum told you not to do at the beach as a child, in a safe and controlled way.
Learn all about the marine life, test your nerve in the rough water features or leap from the butterfly inducing cliff jumps.
Minimum age is 8, so ideal for the whole family.
Celtic Quest supply all the equipment, you'll need an old pair of trainers and a towel though.
