Canaston Bowl and Crystal Maze overview
"We decided to visit Canaston Bowl and Crystal Maze on a typical wet Welsh windy day. The site itself is located next to Oakwood theme park and the Blue Lagoon so we combined our visit to the bowling ...
centre with a visit to the blue lagoon as both were undercover. The centre is quite small so is not suitable for an all day visit but most children should be able to find a couple of hours fun here. Visitors can play bowling and use the game zone which includes the crystal maze game. It is rather on a small scale and we were slightly disappointed as we were expecting a full scale replica of the crystal maze game. The bowling alley is also rather standard. The price of the bowling was a little expensive as was the food on site, but we did enjoy our visit here."

Visited Canaston Bowl and Crystal Maze on 6th August 2010 only to find that the Crystal Maze has been shut down. Travelled up from Swansea with friends so very annoyed and disappointed especially since Canaston are still advertising it as open on their website. Owned by Oakwood Park apparently and despite contacting them to complain, they have yet to reply to me and today are still advertising it. The bowling alley is quite small and could do with updating and without the maze, there's really not much to do here now.
