Hendra is a five-star holiday park great for families! We have the Oasis indoor and outdoor Fun Pools complex, which has something for children of all ages! The pools include three fantastic water ...
flumes, river rapid ride, water cannon, geyser, fountains, waterfall, 30m pool and toddlers' pool. The park is beautifully laid out with award-winning toilet and shower blocks for touring guests, tarmac roads and excellent lighting, and we are a David Bellamy Gold award winner. We have a club with free nightly entertainment for all the family, daily kids’ club, indoor and outdoor play areas and amusements, café, takeaways, laundrette and supermarket. Hendra’s perfectly positioned just outside of Newquay in the countryside. Newquay is ideally located for exploring the whole of Cornwall, and near to some of Cornwall’s best beaches. Newquay has something for all the family with Newquay Zoo, Trenance Gardens and boating lake, Blue Reef Aquarium, gig racing and sailing, horse riding and golf and tennis and bowls, along with lively nightlife and great restaurants. We have camping, touring and motor home pitches along with a wide range of holiday homes – there’s something for everyone! New for 2012, brand new superior Perran Holiday Homes. All holiday homes are furnished to a high-standard and include those with double-glazing, flat screen TVs and DVD players, and full central heating.

Hendra is a fantastic place, one of the best if not the best. We have been going here for years now and we have not been able to find anywhere else that can beat it. Hendra is always very clean and tidy, the toilet blocks definately deserve the "loo of the year awards".
There is so much area for the kids to run around and plenty of things to do from the childrens clubs for different ages, to swimming in either the indoor or out door pools, there is parks for different ages of children. A large playing field with goals for playing football and so much space that the kids can enjoy flying kites. The arcades are addictive but very much fun. You can enjoy a spot of ten pin bowling with the children. Mario's pizza is a great place it has a bar for the adults and they sell pizza's that are soooo tasty, they will have you going back for more.
The main club house and its entertainment crew are fabulous, they always interact with the children and play loads of party games and party dances. Henry and Henrietta the hippo's will have the children dancing around.
The family entertainment is great, from magicians to comedians to vocalists, the whole family really will be entertained from the minute you arrive and if you stay more than once you get a membership card which gives you discount on the park for many different things including discounts of food to swimming in the indoor pool.

Family friendly caravan park in Cornwall

A brilliant 10 day hol at Hendra with extended family. What a great place! Two of our families had a top of the range caravan..superb, and three families had budget range and we struggled to find the difference between them, apart from size and content! Everywhere is immaculate, so clean and the staff are sooo freindly. Our kids couldn't get enough of the kids club and the entertainment was great too, very funny comedian. Family favourites was the indoor pools, couldn't get them out of there, the train and the club, and pizzas from the pizza cafe! Town and beaches very close, we loved Dairyland and the Zoo both nearby, and Fistral beach surfing even though its was a bit cold! We've booked for next year and my sister has booked again for this July. Thoughly recommended park, fantastic value for money, genuinely family orientated (no groups of noisy singles!), and has everything you'd need.
