We spent a long weekend at Crimdon Dene in early April. The park is very exposed - right on the coast - so can be chilly but the views more than make up for that! It was quiet when we went and the facilities are lovely, good swimming pool, nice entertainment area. We ate on site several times and the food was lovely, well priced and a good selection with lovely children's food too, not just burger and chips. All the staff were friendly, the caravan was well equipped and clean and fresh. The only negative I could say is that many of the caravans don't have hard standings alongside for cars and ours was very muddy outside. The walks and beach are great though and with Hartlepool only a short drive away, it's a fantastic location for a short break.
