We stayed at the Windermere Marina Village last year and we had a great time. We stayed in one of their ‘upside down’ cottages – the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area on the upper floor to give people the best view and it was lovely. The accommodation was clean and spacious and the surrounding views were brilliant as all the cottages overlook the marina. There is a bar and bistro area at the Marina for guests and there is a small shop where you can buy groceries. There is also an indoor swimming pool, a children’s play area and a laundrette for guest’s usage.
