Lake Windemere in a woodland setting, sloping down to the lake where there is boating access. Guests at Avon Wood have free membership at the Parklands Country Club 5 miles away. The leisure facilities include a swimming pool with a childrens pool, badminton and squash courts and a gym. ACCOMMODATION – Caravans and lodges will sleep up to 6 people. The most spacious lodge for families will sleep 6 in three bedrooms. Kitchens are well equipped and patio areas have a picnic table and barbeque. Bed linen and duvets are provided and beds are made up for your arrival. Gas and electricity is included. (Nb Lodges with hot tubs are available for adults only). FOR KIDS – Cots and high chairs available for weekly rental.
