We have always had either 5* hotel or villa holidays, until My daughter arrived on the scene ! Since then we have spent several Fabulous holidays in torbay at Hoburne. This park is immaculate, the staff bend over backwards to make your stay wonderful. There is everything a child could wish for " Sammmy the seahorse" and the entertainments team are stupendous ! this is a place where all your child hood memories are made. and it is certainly as good as if not better than any 5* establishment i have visited. Hpaay children Happy parents. and 24 hour security keeping everyone safe and sound ! I cannot recommend Hoburne highly enough.

Just what we wanted

We were lucky enough to grab ourself a cheap last minute deal at Hoburne Torbay, but we were unsure what to expect.
We needn't have worried as we found the park fantastic for our needs. We visited in October so it wasn't too busy but it still had a lovely atmosphere. The soft play area was our favourite place to go as it was quite large with loads to do, although it is unsupervised so keep a close eye on your little ones as there is potential for them to get damaged by older kids!
The pool was also nice with a slide but we did find it slighly cold and there were was a distinct lack of baby changing facilities in the swimming pool changing rooms. We had to settle for the disabled toilets which is not entirely pleasant.
We enjoyed the entertainment on offer for the children and found the staff very friendly throughout our visit. The only downside to the park is the general cost of services on offer. We found drinks, the laundrette and wi-fi very expensive. I did overhear a staff member comment on why not many people came to see the entertainment but I would guess it was the price of the drinks! Having said that, I think this is common throughout holiday parks in the UK so I can't really single out Hoburne for being anymore expensive than other parks.
On the whole we really enjoyed our time here and would definately go back.

Hoburne Holiday Park, Torbay

"We went to Hoburne holiday park last year on a family holiday in Torbay and it was lovely. We stayed in a two bed ‘premier’ caravan which was really nice and clean and had plenty of suitable facilities. The park itself was good for children too – it had a large swimming pool with a baby area and a tall windy slide. There is also a crazy golf course, and indoor soft play area and an outside children’s playground. There are also a number of places to eat on the park which are child friendly with highchairs and baby bottle/food warming facilities."
