Haven Rockley Park Holiday Park overview

Five Star holiday park with views over Poole Harbour. Fabulous heated pools and lots of sports and leisure activities to keep everyone busy. Try the brand new Spa for a really relaxing experience! ... For indoor fun join the younger kids in some great activities, or take them to the daytime entertainment provided by Rory the Tiger and friends.

great kids activities, not so good for tent camping

We visited this holdiay park on our first every family camping weekend. We found the camping facilities rather lacking as we only had two dodgy portaloo cabins (the ones like green telephone boxes) and a railway track ran directly past us! But the holiday park itself was heaps of fun, especially the heated outdoor pool area. You can see the kids playing while you have a drink in the restaurant's outdoor terrace. There are the usual arcade games and rides, but there's also soft play area and an indoor pool, and the restaurant serves Annabel Karmel meals for children. The play areas were great as there were trampolines, a bouncy castle as well as standard swings etc. If we'd been staying in a caravan we'd have had a better time, I think, as they had nice facilities in a shower block (we could use the showers, but this was a walk away from the tent area). There's also a spa here but I didn't try it so I can't vouch for it, but sounded nice with reasonable prices.

The staff showed themselves to be polite and hardworking and the whole park had an air of being well maintained and monitored.

It is a brilliant place to bring young children, it gave us adults a chance to relax and the entertainment was excellent. The only complaint we had was that the caravan was in need of updating. On the whole its a great place and we would come again.
