Minnesota Lodge
14 May 2012

We booked for 4 nights in Feb 2012 half term. Never been here before and loved it. Just looking at booking for a christmas break!. The Minnesota lodge was quite dark, and the only down side was the small half sized bath/shower (no good if you're claustraphobic!) but we soon cottoned on to the showers in the leisure club and that suited us fine! Good cooking equipment, with microwave and good hob/oven. TV with freeview and built in DVD player. The fire is great and the lodges really toasty warm. It is very child friendly and we spent most of our time in the swimming pool. You can get take aways from the club house if you don't want to go out to eat. All in all, fab place! We did Hastings one day, Druisilla's and then "Yesterdays world" in Battle. On check out day we still had our leisure passes and stayed until after lunch before heading home. Great place, lovely people and very welcoming.
