amazing mix of spectacular sweeping moorland, high rugged tree clad cliffs and enticing sheltered bays, wilderness and tranquility as well as the best place to glimpse Red Deer or the native Exmoor Pony in the Exmouth National Park. Doniford Bay is perfectly located to allow you to enjoy plenty of family activities and places to visit, from the mysterious Tarr Steps made of huge stone slabs and set in a shady valley which is probably part of a prehistoric trackway or medieval route, to the many National Trust sites in this part of Devon such as Arlington Court, south of Combe Martin. Family fun is around the corner at Butlins, Minehead, Tropiquaria an all-action animal and Adventure Park, Watermouth Castle and the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Appreciate the scenery on a steam powered train or take a boat over to Lundy Island. A must see is Cheddar, famous for its Cheddar cheese and Britain’s largest gorge and don't forget the Roman city of Bath! At Doniford Bay you can speed down the super 4-lane flume next to the Parks heated outdoor plunge pool, or splash about in the heated indoor pool. There is also the opportunity to be coached in the arts of archery, tennis and fencing. In the evening the Harlequin Club is the venue for fabulous entertainment, whilst Dixie's Sports Bar welcomes you for a drink and a game of pool plus mini ten-pin bowling.
