Norfolk Broads. The complex overlooks the sea, and there’s a pathway for easy access to the beach. Accommodation is on a half board basis for family stays, in 2 bedroom apartments with private bathrooms. Pontin's Pakefield has a number of free activities on offer, including a fantastic indoor pool zone, crazy golf, bluecoat shows and cabaret, and other entertainment for kids such as a circus skills school and Captain Croc in the character show. Climbing, quad bikes, zip wires, abseiling, and other thrill seeking activities are available at a supplement. For a fun day out make sure you pay a visit to Pleasurewood Hills park.

For a cheap holiday with children Pakefield is a good choice as long as you don’t mind very basic accommodation. This is a cheap and cheerful place with lots to do for children of all ages. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and could not have done more for my autistic nephew. My teenagers and my nephew all had a fantastic time here enjoyed the activities, particularly wall climbing and the quad bikes and even had a go at bingo. We really enjoyed the evening entertainment although we found it difficult knowing what was on and where. My kids can be quite fussy about their food so we were pleased that the food wasn’t bad and there was something to please everyone. Children will all have a great time at Pakefield: the only thing that let it down for us was the cleanliness of the accommodation and the smelly toilets throughout the park.
