Belle Dune enjoys a lakeside location within a traffic free eco-village not far from the coast. Sand dunes and one of the finest golf courses in France surround attractive houses and apartments. There’s plenty to keep the family busy, with an indoor heated swimming pool with wave machine, an outdoor water park with giant slide and water jets, and a whole range of sporting activities on offer. ...
During high season there are sports tournaments and entertainment and a mini train runs from the village to the nearby beach. ACCOMMODATION – At Belle Dune there is a choice of self-catering apartments or fully equipped houses within the grounds. Accommodation includes a well-equipped kitchen, bed linen, towels and cleaning equipment. Houses also have a flat screen TV. FOR KIDS - There’s a choice of kids clubs for children aged all the way from 3 months to 18 years providing activities and entertainment for all under the supervision of a dedicated team of professionals who speak both French and English. As well as the numerous kids clubs youngsters can enjoy a variety of sports, a circus skills school, pedaloes on the lake and cycle rides around the village.

We spent a week at Belle Dune and it really was a nice break and felt like a real getaway.
As the last reviewere said the kitchen is not extensive, but we were out and about most of the time and just used it to make a cup of tea or a sandwich at lunch time.
would def need a car and it is a great part of france to explore

We spent five days at Belle Dune. It's a lovely peaceful environment and our house overlooked the lake. The weather wasn't great but this didn't matter as there was lots to do such as hiring bikes, swimming, visiting the children's farm and playground. Sandy and spacious Quend beach is about a 20 minute walk away, or you can drive or take a tourist train there. There's a family friendly restaurant where the food is quite good. Because the resort is car-free you might have quite a walk between car and accommodation which is long-winded if you have a lot of luggage (which we had with 3 children!). The kitchenette is small and there's no washing machine, a launderette is available but is also used by housekeeping staff so can get busy. This being France, there's no kettle either so take your own. The shower is just a handheld one. PV provide baby kits which include high chair, cot, pushchair, baby bath and changing mat which is very helpful. There are baby and children's clubs available and lots of activities to do in the surrounding area. Very family friendly, the children loved it. I'd have liked a bit more space to cook and get the washing done.
