When it comes to family facilities and entertainment, Haven really do stand out from the crowd. With over 70 free activities available at their holiday parks, you and the kids will be hard pushed to find a moment when you are stuck for things to do! From multi-activity sports centres, to indoor and outdoor pools equipped with the very latest fun-filled gadgets, you really don’t have to travel far to have an action-packed family holiday! And don’t forget there’s even more entertainment on offer over the school holidays, so make sure you book early! KIDS CLUBS Children can’t get enough of Haven’s kid’s clubs, run by friendly and professional Fun Stars staff. You’ll always find them on hand to help out, and they love to organise things. Especially if it involves them performing on stage! There are three kid’s clubs at Haven, which are completely free of charge! Ages 1 to 4 – Little Cubs Designed for pre school children, offering plenty of fun games, as well as arts and crafts Ages 5 to 11 – R & B Your children will love this action-packed club, with exciting treasure hunts and an interesting mix of team games and entertainment. Ages 12 to 16 – T Co Zone This one’s strictly off limits to adults. Haven’s animators will help keep teens busy and make the most of the activities on the park, whilst making new friends. SPORTS Haven feature all kinds of sports, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a complete beginner or a budding sports star! There is even coaching on offer for these who would like to try their hand at something new. So if you’re not one for just lazing by the pool, get those trainers on and take part in one of the following activities:
Sports coaching: If you would like to learn a new sport or improve your existing skills, take advantage of one of Haven’s certified coaching sessions available for the following sports: Football, tennis, basketball, archery, fencing, fishing, and golf. Junior sports:
Calling all future sports superstars under the age of 8! These free sessions are designed for Haven’s younger guests, as an introduction to a wide variety of sports including archery, fencing, tennis, and golf. Don’t worry they will be in the very safe hands of qualified instructors… Wake and Shake: This might sound like a new flavour of milkshake, but it’s actually something a bit more healthy. As part of Haven’s ‘Kids Alive’ programme, a number of low impact (and fun) aerobic sessions are organised to help keep children healthy and active. When we say aerobic we mean things like space hoppers, mini trampolining and frisbee games, so you won’t struggle to convince your little ones to take part! Character Olympics: This one’s all about taking part. Don’t think speed, think fun. Your children will join Rory and team for an action-packed fun Olympics. Multi Sports Centre: This all-weather centre has it all. From indoor football pitches, to basketball, and rounders. FUN WITH WATER Let’s face it. Now family holiday would be complete without a bit of splashing around in water. And Haven has bucket loads of it. Their indoor and outdoor pools are perfect for a refreshing morning dip or full on drenching water games in the splash zones. Almost all of their parks feature multi-level water parks complete with giant slides, jets, and water flumes (check park details to see full list of facilities):
Pools Both indoor and outdoor pools are free of charge, and looked after by fully trained lifeguards around the clock. Children’s pools, slides, Jacuzzis, and Splash Zones, have enough water to keep guests of all ages entertained! Coaching Haven also offer coaching on a number of sports based activities including scuba diving, swimming lessons, as well as their popular surf rider programme (be sure to book in advance as they are popular, especially during the school holidays). A bit of fun Leave swimming lengths to mummy and daddy, so the children can have some real fun. There’s giant inflatable globes so you can literarily walk on water, indoor pedalo pools, fun inflatables, and even aqua jets – tiny bond-like submarines that pull you through the water. And for those brave families, why not take part in Haven’s very own It’s a Knockout water show! |
