Gadgirth Lodges overview
The luxurious Scandinavian Gadgirth Lodges are located on the beautiful Gadgirth Estate, Ayrshire. Gadgirth Lodges are also in close vicinity to Ayr with its glorious panorama of the Firth, the ...
majestic peaks of Arran in the foreground and the Mull of Kintyre in the background. The beautiful Ayrshire countryside provided the inspiration for some of the finest verses of the National Bard of Scotland, Robert Burns. Gadgirth Lodges are perfectly situated to enjoy the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and the Galloway Forest Park both providing a beautiful setting for walking or cycling you’ll find numerous nature trails, coastal walks and waymarked country paths. If you’d rather just sit back and enjoy the scenery, a boat trip is the perfect way to enjoy the freedom of the open sea, take a cruise on the Waverley, the world’s last ocean-going paddle steamer, which plies the Ayrshire ports. Alternatively join a pleasure trip to see some of the Clyde’s marine wildlife. There are spacious beaches for building sandcastles and plenty of attractions to keep the children amused. Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park offers a range of land and water activities, you can sail, windsurf or canoe on safe and shallow Castle Semple Loch. A few rounds of golf can be experienced at Troon or Turnberry and not forgetting to visit the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow. ACCOMMODATION – Gadgirth Lodges offers beautifully furnished lodges with one double, a corner spa bath with overhead shower, sleeps 2–4 in 1 bedroom. FOR KIDS – Cots and highchairs free of charge.
