elephant and flamingo orphanage is also part of this fantastic 10 day adventure. Day 1 – Overnight from London to Nairobi. Nairobi is a city that never seems to sleep. The entire town has a boundless energy, and is thriving place where all of human life can be found. This is a place of great contrasts where race, tribe and origin mix to create Nairobi’s unique character. Day 2 – When you arrive in Nairobi you’ll have a tour briefing in the morning before you visit the elephant orphanage and giraffe centre, you’ll also get the chance to sponsor an elephant. Day 3 – Today you’ll travel to Naro Moru lying close to Mount Kenya which you will be able to see from your delightful lodge. Take it easy and have a relaxing afternoon. Day 4 – Game drives at Sweetwaters are indeed a pleasure. Game viewing may also take the form of game walks accompanied by our Resident Naturalist, and game rides on horseback. Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Information Centre, and Morani the tame black rhino. Day 5 – This morning you will make your way to Lake Nakuru a very shallow strongly alkaline lake set in a picturesque landscape of surrounding woodland and grassland. A paradise for Flamingos and other water birds as well as mammals including the white rhino. It also has fabulous vistas, hills and a lovely waterfall. Day 6 – This morning you will go on a game drive around Lake Nakuru and in the afternoon you will move on to Lake Naivasha to see more wildlife and there is the option of a boat cruise where you should get close to the hippo population. Day 7-8 – The next two days you will spend getting to know the Masai Mara and its tribe. Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife reserve. Everything about this reserve is outstanding. The wildlife is abundant and the gentle rolling grasslands ensure that animals are never out of sight. Birds, too, are prolific. Day 9 – Trip ends you will return to Nairobi for your return flight to London. Day 10 – Arrive London. Day 11-14 – Optional Mombasa Beach Extension. Day 1-8 - As per itinerary above. Day 9 – Fly from Nairobi to Mombasa. Day 10-12 – You have three days in which to relax and enjoy your beachside resort. Day 13 – Return flight to Nairobi before catching your return flight to London. Day 14 – Arrive London.
