of the largest game in the world, everything from rhinos to herds of elephants. Day 1 – Overnight flights from London to Windhoek, Namibia. Day 2 – Sesriem / Sossusvlei . From Windhoek you will be taken by safari drive to see the Khomas Hochland and then on to the Namib Desert, as you travel you will see an untouched land with many changing colours. Day 3 – Sossusvlei Sand Dunes; Dead Vlei & Sesriem Canyon. An early rise to experience the desert morning - breath taking! Followed by a guided tour of the 'walking dunes' (sculpted by the wind), climb the highest dunes in the world at Sossusvlei. The intensity of the heat during the day means returning to the relative coolness of the impressive Sesriem Gorge. Day 4 – Swakopmund via Walvis Bay. Travel through the Namib landscape where you may see arid mammals or even glimpse flamingos and pelicans, finally, reaching the old German town of Swakopmund, Namibia's second largest city. Day 5 – Swakopmund and optional activities. Today is a free today to select an excursion from sand surfing on the roaring dunes to dolphin spotting or take a flight over the Skeleton Coast - this treacherous, rocky coastline where many vessels have met their end. Day 6 – Brandberg via Cape Cross seal colony and skeleton coast. On route to your next camp you’ll follow the Skeleton Coast to Cape Cross Seal Reserve, keep a lookout for elephants and springbok and Namibia’s highest mountain the Brandberg . Day 7 – Himba Village; Twyfeltfontein rock art. Travelling north you will visit an ancient Bushman site at Twyfelfontein and pitch your tent at Kamanjab where you can visit the semi-nomadic people of the Himba tribe. Day 8 – Etosha National Park enjoy the wildlife the scenery and the sunsets. Day 9 – A full day ahead at Etosha National Park, Okaukuejo, searching for birds, animals and a variety of endangered species. Day 10 – Etosha National Park. A day of game viewing. Day 11 – Waterberg; Cheetah Conservation Foundation. After a final morning game viewing in the Etosha National Park you will make your way to the Waterberg Plateau offering a good contrast to the other parks you have visited. In the afternoon you will visit the Cheetah Conservation Foundation who is dedicated to protecting this wonderful creature. Day 12 – After a relaxed morning you will then make your way back to Windhoek via the heartland of Namibia. Day 13 – The day is free to make the most of Windhoek before flying overnight to London. Day 14 – Arrive home.
