Holiday Village Viva overview

Attractive low-rise apartments at Holiday Village Viva surround a large lagoon style swimming pool, and the whole place is extremely family friendly, clean and well kept. Children will have great ... fun in the new splash pool with water sprays, shutes and slides, and there are plenty of sun loungers on terraces and lawns for mums and dads to soak up the sunshine. There’s just so much on offer here for the children, with a whole range of fabulous Kids Clubs and sporting activities. In the evenings there’s live family entertainment with Cabaret, Karaoke, Bingo and themed evenings. The range of food is excellent and will suit all tastes, from buffet meals to poolside snacks, and unlimited ice cream for the kids!! There’s also an option to eat at the Italian Restaurant and Caribbean Grill once a week. Ca'n Picafort beach is not too far to walk if you feel like a change of scene, or maybe trying out some water sports and there are local buses and a tourist train if you want to do some exploring further afield. ACCOMMODATION: At Holiday Village Viva you can choose from self-catering or all-inclusive holidays in apartments sleeping families of up to 2 adults and 2 children. Rooms are air conditioned with a kitchenette, balcony or terrace. Select and Privilege Apartments are available at a supplement and include extra facilities. Perfect for families

We visited the Holiday Village in 2010 and loved it so much we went back this year (2011) Rooms are perfect for families. The rooms have a small kitchenette with microwave, sink and freezer and hob so if you have small babies/infants its easy to store milk and clean bottles. Hire a baby pack from the creche and you get a steriliser, cot, highchair, baby bath, bottle warmer & pram. The kids club is fantastic - the reps really cannot do enough! After a few days they recognise your children and always say hi when they see them. Clubs are every 2 hours (lasting 1.5hrs) and its just drop in - no advance booking or anything. Creche (for under 3's) is payable and you have to book in advance. The staff there are brilliant and my daughter who has never been left with strangers before loved it! Splashpark for the kids and 2 large pools for the adults and also an indoor pool. Mini golf course but its not that exciting. Cinema for the kids. Food is wonderful. We went AI. So much variety and best night is Wednesday when the theme is desserts - they must have over 50+ cakes, chocolate fountains, sweets and everything you could think of. Shop open everyday selling lots of english food. Stocks pampers nappies & wipes, and cow & gate milk and food. Prices are more than we'd pay here but you can buy the spanish alternatives. Shop does not sell any pharmacy items like anadin or medicines - you have to go into town for them Town is a 10 mins walk. Beautiful beach thats clean and had lovely sand. Lots of shops. Theres a C'an Picafort train that goes everyday and its a great way to do a small tour of the town. Been there twice now and would happily go back next year!

Stayed here June 2011 for two weeks. We have two boys aged 3 and 7. Heres a quick review. Staff Amazingly friendly Apartment Clean very clean!! we had privilege room with own sun beds and umberellas. Well worth the few euro a day to upgrade . Beds bit uncomfortable!! Kids stuff One word . Fantastic. Reps never stop. Something for all ages. Splash pool bit chilly cos its in the shade , but better than having a sun burnt 2 year old. Resort of can picafort found it hard to find a good restaurant with nice waiter service, but if you like pizza and the like you will be fine! We ate indian and chinese. Only average quality. We ate in Monacos 3 times cos food was great. Anna and Neils do a mean sunday roast
