We could keep this description short by simply saying this was voted the number 1 family resort by Tripadvisor. Need we say more? We do feel the need to convey just how child friendly this resort ...
really is. Families return to Protur Bonaire year after year as it has so much to offer both parents and children. The childcare is up there with some of the top family resorts in Europe, allowing parents to relax and unwind making the most of a deserved break! The resort itself is situated in a quiet location at the North Eastern End of Cala Bona, but it’s far from being in the middle of nowhere. There’s a fantastic beach only minute’s away and even an mini-train that will take you into the nearby town of Cala Millor. This hotel is one of Thomson’s Family Club Extra properties and with that comes a whole load of family benefits including a crèche (see ‘for kids’ section below). ACCOMMODATION – All apartments have a kitchenette as well as a balcony with child-proof lock, and have one twin room with an extra lounge with two pull-out sofa beds. FOR KIDS – Where to start… There’s a crèche in the resort for children aged 0 to 3 years run by professional childcare staff (supplement payable). A children’s club open six days a week (3-12 years), evening and daytime entertainment, a drop-in activity den, outdoor miracle playground, indoor soft play centre, mothercare equipment and baby packs. The Grid club for older teenagers and as part of the Family Club extra a football academy and qualified swimming instructors.
