Lopesan Baobab sounds like the name of a strange tropical tree but it is actually a fantastic hotel on Gran Canaria that lives up to its 5* rating. The hotel is set in a huge exotic ‘jungle’ ...
garden complete with jungle sound effects! Walkways and little bridges criss-cross the hotels eight swimming pools and its own stretch of sandy beach. The kids will just love it! Rooms are spacious and furnished with period cane furniture. The range and standard of food is excellent as is the friendly service. It is also easy to reach other parts of this interesting island using the cheap local bus service. ACCOMMODATION – Standard rooms at Lopesan Baobab will sleep 4 and have 2 twin beds plus one double sofa bed suitable for 2 children 12 years or under. Family rooms are available at a supplement and have 2 double beds and a single sofa bed and will sleep 4 adults plus 1 child 12 years or under. All rooms have air-conditioning, bath and separate shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, high definition TV, telephone and a balcony or terrace. (Charges apply for minibar and high-speed internet access), FOR KIDS – Children's pool, Hotel-run kids' club 'Panchiworld' for 4-12 yrs.
