well as direct access to a fantastic sandy beach. The bustling resort of Playa Blanca with its shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance, and for an adventure further afield you can even pop on a local ferry to Fuerteventura. The low-rise white washed apartments overlook a large terraced pool area with two lagoon style swimming pools surrounded by tall palms and flower beds. There’s a separate children’s pool and outdoor playground for kids. When it comes to dining you won’t be left feeling hungry. There’s a Grill style a la carte restaurant, as well as a buffet restaurant with regular themed nights, both of which overlook the beach. ACCOMMODATION – Aparthotel Playa Flamingo has one bedroom apartments with a separate lounge including a pull-out bed. The fourth bed is suitable for a child of up to 12 years of age. All apartments have a small kitchenette with fridge, electric rings, toaster, and microwave. FOR KIDS – Aparthotel Playa Flamingo is one of the Thomson Family Club Xtra resorts, so that means top entertainment for kids including: A crèche (0-3yrs), a children’s club open 6 days a week (ages 3-12yrs), a family entertainment programme including evening activities allowing parents a night or two off, outdoor playground, indoor soft play area, mothercare equipment and baby packs. As part of the family club xtra there’s a football academy, stage academy (dance, theatre, and singing), circus entertainer, and a babyzone a quiet area for feeding and baby changing.

We travelled with four young children and would definately recommend the holiday village. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment near the pool. It was clean and spacious with air conditioning. We went all inclusive and could not fault the food. Though it was a little chaotic at main meal times, the food was fab! There were even facilities to take your meals away if you wanted to. The entertainment was great for kids and the staff were friendly. The beach was only two/three minutes walk and beautiful. We would definately go back there!

We stayed here for a fortnight last summer and we all really loved it. There was entertainment and sports organised for the kids every day In fact there was so much for them to do that we almost didn’t see them except at meal times. They made lots of friends and had such a great time and want to go back there for another holiday! The rooms we had were extremely clean and we have to say how helpful and friendly all the staff were, especially the reps and the hotel manager. Nothing was too much trouble for them and we never heard any complaints. Would highly recommend this holiday to families with young children and glad we had all inclusive because the restaurants and bars close to the hotel were overpriced.
