Tamarijn Aruba, Oranjestad

Tamarijn Aruba overview

Aruba is one of the smallest and most exclusive of the Caribbean islands with some of the finest beaches in the world and the Tamarijn Aruba hotel is right on one of them. For a fantastic all inclusive family holiday it’s really difficult to beat. Rooms all have sea views over the white sands and when you step outside there are just so many things for you to do. The kids have their own club ... with lots of activities and a choice of pools including the ones in their sister hotel next door as well as the gorgeous white sandy beach lapped by constant warm water! The choice of places to eat is even greater with a la carte restaurants galore from both hotels competing for your palate. Favourites, especially for the kids, include the fun Red Parrot and the Palm Grill where you can cook your own food on a Hibachi. Naturally there is a super Italian restaurant as well and of course Caribbean BBQ’s. If you are not too immoderate with the unlimited free drinks the night before there’s plenty to see and do when you venture outside, from cycling around the lovely resort to jeep or an ATV safari into the hills. However the main attraction of this island is its great range of underwater coral reefs and wrecks with snorkeling and diving excursions easy, and not so expensive to arrange. In the evenings there is always some lively entertainment after you’ve tried their cocktail of the evening and enjoyed the view of the stars over the dark tropical sea. ACCOMMODATION – Oceanfront rooms at the Tamarijn Aruba will sleep 2 adults and 2 children under 8 years with 1 king-size or 2 queen-size beds, air-conditioning‚ ceiling fan, phone, TV, internet (charges apply), hairdryer, iron and board, mini-fridge and balcony or terrace with ocean view. FOR KIDS - Hotel-run kids' club for 5-12 years. Activity programme including Papiamento lessons. T-shirt & face painting. Arts and crafts. Sports. Movies & games.
