On the safe Blue Flag beach water sports are available with free tuition, and there´s a PADI scuba dive centre on site with pre-bookable courses. There´s even a separate beach for the kids with a play area. Back on dry land, the Lakitira tennis centre has won many awards, with 11 tennis courts and a coaching programme run by professional Mark Warner tennis coaches. If you need some real relaxation, the Viva Health and Beauty Salon is run by trained therapists who offer a range of therapies and massages in air-conditioned treatment rooms and relaxing cabanas by the sea. Dining options include half board with breakfast in Taverna Platia or the Main Restaurant and dinner in the Main restaurant. An upgrade to full board includes an extensive buffet lunch at Trattoria di Mauro. ACCOMMODATION - There´s a choice of accommodation for families, with white washed villa apartments in Lakitira Village and modern newly refurbished rooms in the Lakitira Hotel. All the rooms in the village have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, a hair dryer, safe, tea & coffee facilities, fridge and complimentary toiletries. En-suite hotel rooms have air-conditioning, flat screen TV, safe, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. In July and August only, accommodation is also available in Lakitira Suites situated behind the Village, with additional facilities including a bar, restaurant, pool and gym. Guests also have access to the main Lakitira complex. FOR KIDS - Experienced childcare is available and five separate kids clubs are included in the price of your holiday for children from 2 to 17 years. The Baby Club (4 - 11 months) in the crèche also has a 24-hour kitchen for your use. The Indy Club for teens from 14 to 17 years operates during July and August only. Extra baby-sitting can be arranged in the resort subject to staff availability and 24 hours notice is required.
