Family Holidays in Ibiza

The small island of Ibiza, just off the coast of Spain, has become a top family holiday destination with its beautifully clear waters and Blue Flag beaches. However there are two Ibiza’s, one for clubbers and one for families. If you want to avoid the first one but still have a choice for evening entertainment and plenty of activities for the kids, you have to choose where to stay carefully. The most popular family beach resorts in Ibiza are at Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Portinatx, Es Cana and San Antonio Bay whereas the clubbers tend to stay in apartments and hostels in the centres of San Antonio, Ibiza Town and Playa d’en Bossa. There is just so much to do and see on this sunny Mediterranean island. As well as beaches and sunshine, the island has a wealth of activities for children. Water Parks, play parks next to beaches, mini-trains, ten pin bowling, there’s even a medieval castle complete with dungeons. An enormous plus is that a holiday here doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
