It is easy to get about, as there is a free hotel shuttle bus into town and a bus stop for the local bus to take you along the Amalfi Coast. You can also catch a ferry to take you around the peninsula or to go to Naples (a less stressful experience than driving or even being on the bus. Trains are also an easy and cheap option for your excursion to Pompeii or Herculaneum. ACCOMMODATION – Standard rooms at Grand Hotel Vesuvio have two beds, satellite TV and hairdryer. For a supplement there are sea view rooms available which also overlook the pool. FOR KIDS – Cots available for hire. High chairs. Section of swimming pool for children. Outdoor play area
