Alsagra overview
Alsagra is a unique restored stone farmhouse with three lovingly restored self catering apartments set in the Umbrian countryside just south of the Tuscany border. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms, ...
fully fitted kitchen, open living/dining room and large bathroom. They all have their own private entrances with patio, barbeque, and loungers. A stunning outdoor solar heated swimming pool with amazing views is on one terrace and children’s play area further away on another. Close by to Perugia, Assisi and Sienna makes day trips very easy or take the train to Rome and Florence for the day. There is a lake with wonderful beaches close by where you can relax, enjoy the sun, take in a glass of wine or two in the café on the beach whilst the children play in the sand and free play area. Alternatively you can escape into the countryside to explore the hill towns and villages. There are play parks in nearly every local village and a great water park which has a wonderful children’s pool with fountains and slides and also 3 other pools for larger children/adults with flu type slides. Try their Pizza making evening where everyone gets to roll out, make and eat their own Pizza. Desert, drinks (alcoholic and juices) provided. FACILITIES - Children and adults menu available for arrival meals. Baby listening devices, Cots and bedding, children’s toys, games and DVDs available. Very young children’s equipment such as potties, sterlisers, high chairs, hand blender, changing mat etc Socket guards, Secure and fenced heated swimming pool. Private patios with barbeque and chairs. Gardens/terracing. Ample Parking
Relaxing holiday in rural Italy

Great 6 night break in Alsagra, rural italy with Helen and Steve, who were very good, relaxed hosts.
The children enjoyed playing with the other children of the 2 families in the other 2 apartments and were able to explore and move between the 2 play areas, goats and the grounds in safety and the pool is gated which was reassuring. Lots of pool toys etc and beautiful setting, enabling the parents to relax while the children happily played - bliss. We especially enjoyed the pizza making evening, where we all made pizzas and then relaxed together to eat them, so much so that Helen put on another evening for us later in the week (BBQ/T-shirt making!) which was great. All in all a lovely, relaxing holiday in a great area of Italy, which had lots of interesting places in the region if you can bear to tear yourself away.

We stayed at the apartments in April 2011 and had a great time. There were two play areas for the children and we could not get them away to explore the area as there was so much to do around the apartments and other children to play with. We have a 1 year old and inside the apartments there was lots of equipment to make sure we had everything we needed. When we finally got to go out there was lots to do in the area. Getting back after a day out it was a pleasure to go into the heated pool. We have re-booked for September already.
