Top Tips for that extra special family holiday in Jamaica
- If you like visiting a garden in a Stately Home at home then plan a tour to one of Jamaica’s many exotic gardens such as Shaw Park Gardens, Cranbrook Flower Forest or the Hope Botanical Gardens. The kids will especially enjoy getting wet under the Reach waterfall in the Coyaba River Gardens. If you are a family of walkers check out the trails on Blue Mountain Peak, famous for its bird life. The Royal Palm Reserve in Negril also houses an impressive collection of native bird and reptile life.
- Heard of Blue mountain coffee? Take a trip to where it is grown and on the way you will pass pineapple, sugarcane and banana plantations as well as some really picturesque villages. The kids will especially enjoy the method of transportations used in some of the plantations, in a tractor or on a camel. The mountainside views are also spectacular.
- Dont forget to give the kids a chance to experience Reggae music in its home environment. This exciting vibrant music is played in all the towns and cities as a background to eating outside.
