Top Tips for that extra special family holiday in Menorca:
- Don’t be content with just your swimming pool or nearest beach, take the kids to check out a few of the many picturesque coves and beaches in other parts of the island.
- Most kids like to get onto a pony or horse so treat them to a trek around the island. This is a popular activity and will be easy to organise from wherever you are staying. The little ones will also enjoy the donkey ‘Safari Park’ near Fornells.
- A few hours in the Mahon, the island’s capital and historic port, makes a nice contrast to all that sunbathing. Stroll around the atmospheric streets, check out its museum, admire the boats in the harbour and take advantage of the many restaurants and shops.
- If the kids are looking for something a little more exciting take them to experience the aqueous delights of Los Delfines Aquapark. The Black Hole is said to be very scary!
