culture at several traditional villages along the way. Day 1 - Depart London. Day 2 – Arrive in Kathmandu where you will be met by your Group Leader who will discuss the relevant aspects of the Trek, you are then free to explore the spectacular Kathmandu. Day 3 – A day sightseeing in Kathmandu, situated in the heart of the Himalayan Mountains with a rich history and considered by many to be among the most beautiful cities in the world. Take a walk in the backstreets, and the capital's amazing cultural and artistic heritage will reveal itself in many ways as you explore. Day 4 – You will start the day with a scenic flight to Lukla where you will start your trek to Phakding. Day 5-9 - The Everest Trek starts here, your walking skills will be honed and senses aligned as you start to be at one with nature and the mountains, you’ll immerse yourself in this incredible journey and truly exhilarating and stunning experience. Day 10-11 - Return to Kathmandu where you have a free day to relax or explore. Day 12 – Trip ends and return flight to London. Day 13 - Arrive in London. Day 14-16 - Optional Chitwan NP trip extension, you can choose to extend your stay and go on Safari! Days 1-10 - As main itinerary, described above. Day 11 - Depart Kathmandu and drive to Chitwan. Visiting the cultural village of Tharu. Day 12 – A fun packed programme awaits including an elephant back safari, canoe ride and the chance to visit the elephant breeding centre. Day 13 – You’ll be 4W driving to a different part of the park today. Day 14 – An early morning bird-watching tour before returning to Kathmandu. Day 15 - A last look around Kathmandu before your trip ends and you head off to the airport for your return flight home. Day 16 - Arrive London.
