Why is Spain our Number One family holiday destination? Why do we have more and varied family holiday offers in Spain than in any other country? Well maybe because it is almost always sunny and the Spanish people are very childfriendly. Then there are lots of things for the children to do, with some of the largest Activity Parks in Europe in many Spanish resorts. Top Tips for that extra special family holiday in Spain
- Did you know that Spanish is almost as widely spoken in the world as English? Take a simple phrase book with you and make it a game for the children so they can learn a little from the signs they see and get them to ask for a few simple things in a shop or cafe.
- Chances are you will be close to a beach on your holiday so check out the boat or ferries from the nearest port and take a trip to the next island or port along the coast. This is always a popular option with the children.
- Try to experience the atmosphere and sample some real Spanish food in one of the many villages and towns away from the resorts. If you are on mainland Spain check out the wonderful attractions in the main cities like Barcelona, Valencia or Seville.
- Give the kids a fun day in an Activity or Theme Park. There is bound to be one in the area close to your resort.
- Get to the local tourist office as soon as possible to check out the best place to see a flamenco dance and so you dont miss out on the annual flower festival taking place tomorrow in the main square.
