Family Activity Break in Andalusia, Isla Cristina

Family Activity Break in Andalusia overview

It’s early to bed and early to rise if you want to make the most of your family Activity Break in Andalusia. You will start off with training on how to use a kayak, then into the marshes you go, ... through canals and navigation channels past old mills and the fish market. The next days on your itinerary are spent hiking in the Sierra De Aracena Natural Park and cycling through coastal tracks and nature reserves. A favourite day for bird lovers is a guided tour of the Donana Protected Area and your final activity day will be a sailing trip. Apartments do have a kitchen, but the local fishing village has some excellent places to eat, from traditional beach cafes to Michelin starred restaurants. You can also buy food locally to prepare picnics for your activity days out. RECOMMENDATIONS – Your packing should include sun hat, swimwear, towel, hiking shoes and flip flops, (trekking boots in winter) shorts and rain jackets, sun block, lip balm, sunglasses and a personal first aid kit. Also spare glasses and contact lenses if you use them. ACCOMMODATION – During your Family Activity Break in Andalusia you will be allocated a twin or double room in one of 3 apartments in Isla Cristina. The apartments are on the coast in front of a natural reserve. Each apartment has a living room, kitchen and three bedrooms. Requests can be made if you prefer an apartment for your family group. Accommodation is on a bed only basis.
