Family Holidays in Thailand
A family holiday in Thailand really is something special and if it’s the first time you and the children visit the Far East, it’s something you will always remember. It’s different in the Tropics. The very air is always full of strange and exotic scents from frangipani to cumin and its warm all the time! Thailand as a holiday destination has a lot going for it. The Thai people are incredibly childfriendly and the children will be guaranteed a warm welcome wherever you go. The resorts are straight out of a Desert Island picture, where the white sandy beaches are shaded by tall coconut palms and lapped by green/blue crystal clear water. Most of our Thai holiday selections are on islands in the South China Sea, with Phuket Island or Koh Samui the main favourites.
There is always a choice for swimming as most of the hotels, villas and lodge complexes have at least a couple of pools with one kept for the exclusive use of the youngsters. Kids clubs are also very much pretty standard and babysitting is never a problem. The standard of accommodation is also very high with tasteful Oriental furnished rooms often leading straight onto the beach. As for the food, if your family enjoys the odd Thai meal at home you are in for a real treat here at the place where all those succulent spices, lime leaves and lemon grass come from.
