An amazing 5* hotel which is surprisingly child friendly

I'll start by saying how shocked I was that Stoke Park was so child friendly. The website really doesn't give it away and you could easily think that it isn't a place to take the kids. Yes, it's amazingly grand - I've never seen anything like it, but yet it's so down to earth. It's really strange! The hotel has hotel run kids play areas, a supervised crèche and an outdoor park for children. This is in addition to the massive grounds, mounts of activities and of course the golf course. We even saw a boy, who must have been no more than ten, enjoying a round of golf with his Dad while we were there. The pool is small but big enough for a quick dip and the spa is amazing for mums who need some chill-out time. Excellent food and the breakfasts are AMAZING, please look at the pictures because you have to see it to believe it. I definitely recommend Stoke Park. If you're not sure or if you're looking for a romantic break with child in tow, just do it. You won't regret it.
