4 Star for kids & adults alike

I love this hotel mainly because of it's fantastic location - perched on the far cliffs of Torquay bay, with the most amazing views. You can sit with a coffee or glass of wine for hours, just admiring the view and watching the array of boats travelling past. This is not a cheap place by any means, but nor should it be for it is 4 star. If you are looking to spoil yourself and the kids for a couple of nights, then look no further. We've stayed in one of the suites - enormous lounge, two bathrooms, bunk beds in one room for the kids and enormous king size bedroom for us. Breakfast is too vast to list but there's something for everyone at the buffet, and again, the wonderful views to enjoy. There are two swimming pools - small indoor one for the winter and bad weather, and an outdoor summer one with an incredible Mediterranean feel (in the right weather!). There's the free Barcy club for little ones - everything from small softplay items, ball pit, cuddly toys to Play Stations and pool tables, There's also a small outdoor play area with ride-on trucks, a climbing frame and Wendy house to explore. It's only a short walk down the hill into the centre of Torquay, where you can take a stroll round the harbour admiring the boats & enjoy a fresh fish & chip supper, right on the quay. A wonderful break!
