Premier Inn Blackpool Central, Blackpool

I stayed at the Premier Inn Blackpool Central with my son in December 2011 and our experience really couldn't have been better. We arrived on the morning of 19 December and it was absolutely throwing it down. We were staying overnight to enjoy the 12 days of Christmas event at Nickelodeon Land (Pleasure Beach) and had arrived by train way earlier than check-in time. The lovely woman behind the counter checked us straight in to a lovely, modern room and put the heating on for us so that we could get warm and dry. The bed was double bed was comfy, a really good nights sleep and there was also an additional pull-out bed for my son. Unlike Travelodge the rooms are nicely decorated with a bed runner (Premier Inn branded purple) and a standard large canvas over the bed. We had some freeview TV chanels, an open wardrobe, kettle, tea, coffee and milk, towels, extra pillows and some smellies in the bathroom. We would definitely stay there again. All for the bargain price of £29 - you can't beat it. 4* for being what it is and doing it well. So aware this is a 3* accommodation but it deserves four for really stepping up to the mark. Excellent Breakfast is at the adjacent Brewer's Fayre and is full English as well as buffet continental. Really good value for money. (Oh, and there's a Ben & Jerry's machine in the corridor. I think this is important information).
