Premier Inn Gatwick Airport Central, Crawley

Stayed at the Premier Inn Gatwick Central recently as we had to catch an early morning flight. We were lucky enough to get their £29 room deal, which was an amazing bargain. Check in was friendly and efficient and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Had to ask for heating to be turned off as the room was boiling hot and heating was controlled from Reception. Hot tap water was scalding, although they did have a warning sign. As the reception area, bar and restaurant were so close together there were very strong cooking smells most of the time which rather put me off. Chips in the evening and bacon in the morning! OK if you are eating there, but not just passing through! The shuttle bus left every 20 minutes spot on time and took less than ten minutes to the South Terminal. You can actually see the North Terminal from the hotel, but the route is along main roads and a roundabout, so not very easy to walk with kids or luggage.
