The Anchor at Burwell is a charming place to bring the family. It's renowned for it’s stone baked Pizzas, which are made in a traditional Italian oven and have a large selection of tasty toppings. ...
As well as pizzas, there are plenty of dishes on offer ranging from fish and chips to Sunday roasts. There is always a ‘specials board’ too if you fancy a change. The pub has a large plasma television so you will never miss out on your favourite sports! The Anchor hosts numerous entertainment nights including; live music, sports nights, wine and cheese evenings and coffee mornings which are great to have a mums meet up with pre-schoolers and treat yourself to a freshly ground cup of Italian coffee!!

The newly refurbished Anchor Pub and Pizza situated near the river in Burwell is a great place to take the family. There is an Italian themed menu with fresh pastas, risottos and stone baked pizzas as well as some traditional pub classics, ciabbata rolls and a great specials board.
There are toys and books for the children to play with, a child friendly drinks, kids menu which includes a dessert and activity pack, an outside play area with climbing frame and slide, baby changing and high chairs.
Children are made to feel very welcome and the pub has a regular coffee morning for Mums and pre-schoolers on Fridays during term time. You can even hold your childrens party here and hire the bouncy castle.
