The Anchor Inn overview
If the weekend weather is good, then head for the family friendly Anchor Inn. The location is fabulous, right on the River Ouse, so before lunch, the kids can enjoy a swim or you can hire a boat and explore the river. Packed on Sunday lunchtimes, so arrive early, but it is fairly out of the way so quieter in the evenings. A wonderful place to spend a family day, eating, fishing, boating, ...
