The Queen's Head

This is a hugely childfriendly pub. It is always full of children, and in the summer, they’re queuing for the swings! It’s just as good in winter with the museum of agricultural metal ware they’ve got hanging from the ceilings providing hours of I spy and guess-the-function-of-the-weird-thing-on-the-end type games. The children’s food is basic, nuggets and the like, but if you take them up on their offer of a child’s portion of grown-up food then it’s pretty good - scampi goes down well with vegetables offered instead of the wonderfully oniony salad. And there are big puddings!
