If you are out for a drive through the heart of Kent with the kids then this is the place to aim for around lunchtime or for an early evening meal. They have a wide range of good home cooked food and no chips! Children are welcome in all areas except the Public Bar, but this is not a problem because everywhere inside is really comfortable and you can choose between the Restaurant and Saloon Bar. If it’s a nice day the outside area is a lovely place to be, with its pretty vine-hung courtyard leading over a little bridge, to a large lawned garden.
