The Clog and Billycock overview
The Clog and Billycock is in the little village of Pleasington, which is in one of the most beautiful parts of Lancashire. However that’s only one of many reasons for heading here with the kids. It ...
is part of the Ribble Valley Inns group and if you’ve been to one of their pubs before you don’t need to read any further except to get directions! Basically it is the perfect example of what a child friendly pub should be. Their aim is to serve the whole community and that includes children. Kids are not only welcomed with open arms but also treated as real people. Their excellent children’s menu is a mini version of yours with corresponding reductions in price of course. They also have a big array of fun sheets and competitions always on hand for younger children. The pub itself is gorgeous, having just undergone a million pound plus refurbishment and of course there is plenty of space outside for the kids to play.
Fantastic - Exactly as you'd expect from a Northcote restaurant

The Clog and Billycock is a relatively new addition to the Northcote family. All of the pub/restaurants serve fantastic quality food and deliver outstanding service with well trained staff, in a cleanly and well maintained environment. The ambience is relaxed and accepting.
The pub/restaurants serve top notch english classics with a modern, contemporary twist. It really can't be faulted.
Children are definitely welcome at the Clog and Billycock, but as we're told on their website, 'don’t expect bouncy castles, arcade machines and chicken nuggets.'
What you can expect is fresh food, made to order with the same attention to detail that an adults portion would be given. There are no cheesy meal deals here, and prices for individual dishes are reasonable and affordable with a main meal costing about £5 and a dessert about £2.50.
There are plenty of drinks to choose from - fresh juices, freshly made milkshakes with natural ingredients, belvoir presses and old traditional drinks such as dandelion and burdock and sarsaparilla.
Colouring sheets and competitions are provided as well as high chairs, clean toilets and baby changing facilities.
