Yeadon Way Brewers Fayre overview
Yeadon Way Brewers Fayre is a family pub restaurant located next to the Premier Inn in central Blackpool. The restaurant is licensed and serves some real ales, draught beers, wines and spirits as ...
well as soft drinks and hot beverages. The food served at Yeadon Way Brewers Fayre is typical to that of the chain. Traditional English pub grub dishes fill the menu, with favourites such as scampi, pie, roast dinners and lamb featuring. Chilli and curry is also on offer for those who prefer something a little spicier. The restaurant also offers a snack menu with lighter dishes such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches. Children are catered for; children's menus are available, as well as highchairs, a soft play area, games machines, rides, colouring activities and a baby changing area. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
One of the better Brewer's Fayres

I used the Brewer's Fayre on Yeadon Way on both 19th and 20th December 2011 and I was really impressed with the food, the service and the facilities.
Although Brewer's Fayres have generally had a face-lift over the last few years, this one had particularly nice decor and didn't feel old-wordy at all.
I dined with my son (3 years old) and he LOVED the play area. I noticed there was no ball pit but this didn't seem to bother him at all, he was running around and made friends quickly. The area isn't supervised, but unlike other pubs it is free to use. There are windows to see in the area and parents are asked to keep an eye on their children if they are using the area. My son is only small and I didn't feel worried at any point. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine while reading my emails and he played happily, popping in and out for cuddles and drinks. It was a really relaxed evening.
The food was good. I had a snack meal, a jacket potato, but my son ate a full roast dinner and really enjoyed it. It all tasted really good for pub food and it didn't have a microwaved vibe to it at all. I had an ice-cream dessert which was drowned in baileys (very nice for the mums) and my son had a chocolate sundae and loved it.
Food was relatively cheap. For a child's 3 course meal, two courses for an adult, 2 large glasses of red cab sav and 2 capri suns, the meal was approximately £20. With no additional play area costs, it was a really positive evening and the staff were really, really friendly. I was really impressed.
We stayed at the adjoining Premier Inn (which was also great) and booked breakfast. Although the food was good and there was a good choice of both continental, beverages and hot food I didn't feel it was as good as the evening meal. Nevertheless it was still a positive experience and worth the £7 odd that we paid. My son was free.
